Job Description

Title:         Pre Press Manager
Date:              March 2011
Report to:     Production Manager 

 

Job Summary:

To ensure the smooth running off the CTP/Repro department, you should have a flexible attitude towards work and be able to work under constant pressure.  Knowledge and a minimum of 2 years experience working with the Agfa Apogee work flow is desirable.  The ability to supervise and delegate an ever-changing workflow is a skill that he/she must possess in order to be successful in this position. 

 

Essential Skills:

  • Understanding and experience of imposition and creating new templates
    Understanding and experience of colour separations
    Understanding and experience of the lithographic and digital printing processes
    Understanding and experience with bindery operations
  • Good communication skills
